Bank of India was Batley’s last design project. The large, heavy building conveyed the security that the Bank had to offer.Many ornamentations resembling Neo-Classical buildings were given to the façade after referring to his portfolios. The complex was further detailed and executed by his successor Mr. D K Chowdary.
